Elissa, how did you feel when you saw that Alec was evicted by a vote of 10-2?

It was amazing to see that Alec left in an overwhelming majority vote that I was a part of it. It was a relief to see that I'm not completely out of the loop.

The names that jump out to me as maybe voting for Layla are Eric and Chima because they definitely seem like they may be on the outs.

Would it affect how you think of anyone if you found out they voted to evict Layla? Or is it a non-issue?

If those two did vote to evict Layla, it wouldn't bother me or change anything in the game. I'm just trying to observe and deduce any divides in the house. If anything it just means I have more reason to keep them safe so they are endeared to me.

After Alec left the house, Ryan explained the format for the next three weeks. What did you think of the new rules?

Wowza! The new format scares me because it means I could go up at any point and lose my partner. I adore Helen and I can't think of anyone replacing her. If I'm nominated during those weeks, I lose Helen in any outcome. I'm not sure I'm cool with that. It definitely changes the strategy of the game. Now you have more reason to vote out pawns so the target goes into the next round and gets nominated again so you don't lose your partner.

Going into the HoH competition, who were you hoping to see win and why? Who would you have been nervous to see win?

At the Head of Household competition, I knew I wanted Helen to win Head of Household. It would have meant I was safe for another week but I knew she likely wanted to throw it. Aside from her, I was thinking Gina or Gary because we have a deal with them for safety. It's a pseudo-alliance to me. I don't care about that, as long as I'm safe it's fine. Sam or Layla would have been awful because at the moment those two are the biggest targets for the rest of the house. I hadn't spoken to those two so I definitely think I would be nominated.

What was your reaction when you won HoH and had the HoH key around your neck?

OH MY GOD! Getting the Head of Household key is the best feeling ever! It means Helen and I are safe for another week and I have all the cards at the moment. I can't go home and I get to nominate two people for eviction. I'm so shocked to win because I thought I would lose at the second question but I made it to the end and won HoH! Eeeeeee!

The stand-outs to me to nominate are definitely Sam and Layla. I'm considering those two more than anything. They barely talk to anyone, they didn't talk to me until Sam saw I won HoH. AND Sam's a big competitor in the game. He almost won this HoH! I'm also considering Eric and Chima but nowhere near as much because Chima's annoying most of the house but I like Eric. He's a cool guy. I don't think I want him mad at me.

So what is your strategy over the next 24 hours before noms? Do you plan on speaking to everyone or just relying on the advice of those close to you?

I'm definitely trying to talk to everyone and get a feel of the dynamics in the house. This past week, I was nearly nowhere. No one got to really speak to me. I need to make up ground and solidify my position in the game.

Elissa (BBCharm): What I wanna do is set up the vote this week so there's a big pair of targets next week. By doing that I'd need one of my nominations to come down and in that case I would nominate Eric so Chima gets a partner who is as big of a target as she is.
And then I'm safe for another round.
cuzcarynsucks: Interesting. Who would you want to see come down from the block
Elissa (BBCharm): In a perfect world, Layla. There's no way anyone could justify not putting her up. I definitely feel like Sam plays more of a social game and is more likely to be kept safe.
cuzcarynsucks: Interesting. Would you want to remove her yourself, or have herself do it so you don't draw too much attention to yourself?

Elissa (BBCharm): I'd definitely consider taking her down but I feel like if I won POV that, in order to save face, I would veto Sam. The best thing would be for her to win POV. That's unlikely because she doesn't seem that committed to the game. And I know. I just wanted to explain my thought process to someone It still works if Sam comes down and goes with Chima but I'd have to figure out how I can make sure people don't want to keep him safe next week
cuzcarynsucks: So essentially your strategy is to keep Chima in the game because she's a big target? Is that the only reason or are you at all close to her as well?

Elissa (BBCharm): Helen's close with her. She really like Chima. I want to keep her because she keeps the heat off of Helen and I and because I feel like we can definitely manipulate her. It wouldn't bother me if she went home next week but I really want to try and make sure that Helen and I won't be a target no matter who wins HoH. The best way I can do that is by making sure there are bigger targets.
cuzcarynsucks: Do you think Chima would still feel close to Helen if you backdoored her partner?
Elissa (BBCharm): I doubt she would trust Helen as much if Eric went home but I really don't think that'll happen. I'm definitely feeling like Eric's a snake and has deals with a lot of people. I've noticed how he likes everyone's posts and kind of tries to be as non-threatening as possible. I don't trust him and I think there's an alliance somewhere in the house that I'm not seeing yet.
