I'm making this before anything starts just so I don't forget or anything.
Uh, I didn't apply with a partner. When I saw the cast banner, I knew Janelle would be my partner because duh. But like...people who play as Janelle probably don't get her.
I really wish Janelle and Ivette got to be allies in the All-Star house, oh well, missed opportunity.
I haven't messaged Janelle. I want her to come to ME. I'm also lazy because ha ha I passed my drug test yesterday so I'm going to start a temp job while I look for full-time work and I have lots of paperwork to do, whatever.
Also, some of these people are such idiots for playing as the characters they are. Yeah, the world needed more of the sheyld.

Janelle messaged me. We're making small talk. We haven't exchanged any info. She's playing in character, I think, because she told me she wanted me to win over Maggie. Obviously Janelle Pierzina did, because she voted for Ivette. But I'm a 20-something, white gay college grad. I'm not Ivette. I wonder if these people think I am her. I'd get Latin on their asses. Do you think Ivette even cares about Big Brother anymore?
One reason I've stayed away from proboards is because of all this fake flirting and joking about sexual assault, but what's maybe most offensive is playing as Brian from BB10. Not looking forward to more of any of that.

The game still hasn't started yet, but Janelle and I are GETTING there. She wants to be UTR this first week. My strategy is to be present but not overwhelming. I think I can tailor my social game to keep her happy, but I'm not going AWOL, that's for sure.
My philosophy: Before people really know each other, if you comment on a few posts, but you're not obnoxious, people will remember you and maybe like you. Week 1 is usually spent getting rid of inactives or people who don't really seem to care.
There are two types of first HoHs: The ones who won so they could be in a power position, and just get rid of the easy, uncontroversial targets, and the ones who want to make powerful moves and shake up the house, even though there's not really an established hierarchy, so they'll just go for the people that seem to be trying really hard. Maybe too hard.
Take the middle path. That's generally my social strategy. Ivette is a Taoist.

I wonder what time this game will start because I'm not particularly hungover, but I definitely had a late night.
I don't want to sleep through the first competition. That would be so Makhosi of me (which might be for the best?)

Ok, so Gina is going to win this game unless she loses a crucial competition. Her social game is on point and she clearly cares enough to play the game, so she'll win a competition if she wants to.
Gary types in character sometimes, but he shouldn't. It's annoying. Gary is just fine as a 16-year-old. Still, Gary is so precious <3
Will is boring but he talks to me.
Helen is more entertaining than Will and she talks to me.
