Week 9: Head of Household Competition

Well, it's been a crazy night, but once again, the power is up for grabs!

Helen, as outgoing HoH, you are ineligible to compete.



This competition is called Been There, Done That!

There are three rounds to the competition! Each round is based on a previous BBCharm competition. In each round, the housemate that performs the worst will be eliminated from the competition! The last housemate standing after three rounds will be the new Head of Household!

Round 1: A Pirate's Life For Me

In Week 2, you boarded Big Brother's Pirate Ship to compete for the Power of Veto! Now, it's time to see how well you can aim the cannon once again!

In the group chat, I'll send you a scrambled up pirate phrase. You must IM the completed phrase to Estelle (troynuncdicit) as quickly as possible! Once everyone has done this, it's time to shoot the cannon!

To shoot the cannon, you'll roll a die in the AIM chat. The number of sides on the die will be the number of seconds it took you to unscramble the pirate phrase. Whatever number you roll is the number of meters your cannonball landed away from the target. Therefore, the faster you solve the phrase, the more likely you are to roll a low number!

The pirate whose cannonball lands furthest away from the target will be eliminated from the competition!

Round 2: F-O-S-S-I-L

In Week 3, you excavated fossilized letters in the backyard to build the longest word possible! In this abbreviated version of the competition, there will be four subboards in the backyard: a word station, and three password protected dig sites. The scrambled up passwords to the dig sites are in the board descriptions. All of the passwords relate to the theme of this stage of the competition.

In each dig site are six fossilized letters. You can choose to excavate up to two letters from each dig site by posting the images of the letters you have chosen in the thread in which you found them. You ARE allowed to excavate the same letters as other housemates who have already posted in the thread.

The goal of the competition is to create a five letter word (it must be in English and cannot be a proper noun). Once you have gathered enough letters to do so, post the letters in the correct order to make the word in the word station. You cannot make the same word as another housemate, so if someone else posts your word before you, you must come up with a new one!

The first two housemates to correctly make a five letter word will move on to the final round!

Round 3: AmaZING Incorporated!

The Zingbot is back, and he needs your help to assemble a Zing once again! This time, there's only one Zing, and it's about all five of you!

The first housemate to PM me with the correct Zing (punctuation and spelling must be perfect) will become the new Head of Household! If neither of you submit a perfectly correct answer, the housemate that submitted first will win!
