Week 9

Will is gone, and since I showed him a website that has every Simpsons episode on it hopefully I get his vote if I make it to the end.
It's nice to not be personally burdened by the partner twist anymore. I've outlasted two partners.
Eric and Chima should be shitting themselves now. They're going to need to win HOH and veto between the two of them until the Final 3 if they plan on being finalists together. Somebody's gotta go, and I heavily prefer Eric.
That being said, I think with Will out of the game, I need to make more of an effort with Eric. I don't want to get TOO close and spook Chima and make her feel betrayed if she learns I'm getting close to him, but should he survive over her, I want to be his BFF remaining.
Of course, Eric might be the biggest jury threat, if only because he'd have survived an all-female alliance. Janelle, Sam and Will are all victims, and Chima has loyalty to him. Boom, it's over.
Also, even though Helen's game is sloppy, I don't think Janelle would humble herself to vote me over her, Sam apparently knows her out of the game (at least kinda) and she probably has Elissa (although she's unpredictable and could very possibly vote for somebody sitting next to Helen for the drama and attention). One mismanaged juror and it's lights out for Ivette.
Elissa probably doesn't stand a chance in hell against a jury, but I don't want to put my endgame at risk by subjecting myself to her whimsy.
Chima could beat me, but it might be another close one.
And although I've spent the past three weeks thinking I may have to blindside Gina, she might be the best one to sit next to on the jury? She'd definitely articulate her case the best of anybody else, and she had to fight harder to get this far. My biggest token is that she has an advantage because she entered with several allies, which was turned into a disadvantage after I made everybody in the game self-destruct somehow, and I played smart enough after that moment to avoid being a target altogether, so I didn't need to win as many comps.
Not entering with any true allies has hurt me at times and helped me at times, but it's truly my biggest obstacle in a jury vote. If I win, I think it's gonna have to be 4-3.

If I survive this week, which is apparently going to be a fast forward, I'll use this topic for the final five

I expect to try much harder in the veto than the HOH. I hope a final five HOH isn't necessary. It would be nice to limit myself to only veto wins.

Yeah, now my game that I worked really hard to set up came crashing down. My position is not nearly as good as it was.
This was a dumb move for Helen and a dumb move for Elissa. Chima and Eric are a pair. They MUST be split up. Do not even give them the chance.
Now I'm stuck in between two pairs and I'm the POV replacement person. Just fucking great.

Of course, there's the chance that Helen and Elissa WANTED to work with Chima and Eric, but that's even stupider, so I'll give them more credit.
The worst part about building your game as a house of cards with people doing what's logically best for them is that when someone makes a stupid move out of their own best interest, it crumbles all the way the fuck down.

Week 9

Post by ivette on Aug 15, 2013 0:07:15 GMT -4
Thank god Elissa won. I'm the only person in the game not to be nommed, and I'm happy keeping it that way. Now, unless Elissa does something STUPID (who knows) I should avoid the pre-veto block, and Helen should vote to keep me should Chima or Eric win POV.
I just could not stand Elissa being the tie breaker, even though NOT splitting up Chima and Eric is pretty much suicide, so I just cannot see that.
What I'll miss most about Gina is having a rational ally to reason with in this game. Helen and Elissa are way unpredictable, and I've spent so much of this game not chatting with Eric. Time to get to know Chima better as an ally, but only after I've slit Eric's throat.

Also, I think my path to the end still exists: split up Chima and Eric somehow this week, get rid of Helen or Elissa the week after. Then I'm in the final 3 with two people who might not want to go to the end with the other out of principle, or just have more loyalty to me and not want to break that promise.
It's not golden, but it's there. I just hope it's Helen and Chima that go far with me and not Eric and Elissa.

IVETTE gina is the replacement? HELEN I think so IVETTE i cant in good conscience vote for her, its too sloppy with chima AND eric around this isnt how we planned it it'll be risky, but having her is less risky than having eric AND chima HELEN I know I just like whether Eric or Chima go home it won't really matter both are targets IVETTE i know shes your friend but i wonder about elissa sometimes shes unrpedictable imo as a vote, she keeps me on my toes HELEN I know I just really think she'll be honest IVETTE im hoping you agree that it needs to be eric right HELEN I couldn't put up Elissa it has to be Eric IVETTE i get that HELEN I'll talk to her I really didn't want this Hoh lol IVETTE if gina goes i'm going to think putting her on the block was a mistake Helen Kim is now offline. Helen Kim is now online. HELEN my internet spazzed what did you say? IVETTE (with a COVER UP) elissa evicted gina did you want gina to go HELEN I don't know if I wanted her gone, I just wanted you and Elissa safe my loyalty is with the two of you IVETTE mhm HELEN I'm just like Shaking right now I didn't want that HoH 11:36 PM Helen Kim is now offline. Helen Kim is now online. 12:01 AM IVETTE (elissa just won HOH) phew HELEN oh god I know No matter what that duo is split up 12:14 AM HELEN I feel like shit haha IVETTE im not mad irl bc i dont get mad over orgs but like, i think that was a move that couldve cost us the game if elissa didnt win hoh, we were fucked HELEN It felt so right to me IVETTE because if chima wins, eric is safe HELEN like I felt that I had to make that move automatically IVETTE unless the person not on the block wins veto and uses it HELEN yeah But I mean At least she won it IVETTE yeah thank god HELEN no matter what the duo is broken up this round IVETTE im not mad, and now gina is at least gone but yes we NEED to get rid of eric or chima. both of them can play in hoh next round if they survive it would be you vs. them HELEN and you IVETTE i'd be evicted HELEN oh yeah oh I get what you mean
Oof. The good news is Gina was helping my game because she could come up with comp wins so I didn't have to, but she would've probably made a very articulate plea to the jury. I don't think Helen or Elissa would win, because the jury won't think they deserve it. Chima is a turncoat, so I'd probably have a better chance against her than Eric. Sitting next to Eric would probably leas to an automatic loss. Another good thing about Chima is she really is competent at competitions, so hopefully we can split up Helen and Elissa next round.
If Helen and Chima fight for me as an ally, but accidentally stumble into the final 3 together with me...I might have it made?

Week 9

Post by ivette on Aug 15, 2013 0:35:09 GMT -4
Scenarios: Eric or Chima goes this week. This SEEMS to be a given.
1. Er/C win HOH. Helen and Elissa go up. Unless one of them wins POV, I survive. If Helen and Elissa are nominated and one wins POV next week, my game ends. Otherwise, the other one goes home. 2. Helen wins HOH. I stay over Chima or Elissa. If it's Chima that goes home, I need to win f3 HOH. If it's Elissa, I'm probably a lock for F2. Both Helen and Chima have pledged their loyalty to me and their partner in this game. Both of their partners would be gone. 3. I win HOH. I try to split up Helen and Elissa. What does it matter, though? It's final 4. POV is the big player. At least I'm safe. This is probably what I'll try to do.
My game isn't as cushy as it was, because there are more dead ends than before. It's doable.

Week 9

Post by ivette on Aug 15, 2013 20:03:57 GMT -4
Today I'm missing the woman, the myth, the legend, Gina Rio. I only got a taste of you, but you ARE Britain's most spoiled girl.
Helen and Elissa in the final two would be the worst thing ever. Gina had such a good spirit and such a good presence, and soul. I know certain people didn't see that, but I saw that, and Gary did too.
Thinking about Gina being gone, it makes me want to cry, because I woke up this morning and I saw Chima and I saw Helen and Eric, but I don't get to see Gina. She didn't even get a chance to stay. That's what KILLS me.
I had so much fun with her, too. She was so much fun, even when she was beating me in comps. This is SO wrong. She was SO GRATEFUL FOR BEING HERE TOO. She never said anything bad about anybody in this game (except Janelle).
She was so good to me. And did you know she, like, prayed for all of us ALL THE TIME?!
Remember she wanted to assist Nick in evicting me in the second week? Remember that?! Nick flopped, but you know what I mean. He wanted me out!
She didn't deserve this. The person that kept me here and never spoke ill of anybody in this house (except Janelle) is gone. And it's wrong. And the person that got everybody involved with her shitty gameplay is still here.
You know what, Helen has never done anything to me, but what she has done is made really stupid moves and been lucky enough to benefit from them.
Thanks, Ryan and Estelle. You're real, uh, stand-up people.

Week 9

Post by ivette on Aug 15, 2013 23:01:49 GMT -4
It took until Week 9, but I'm nominated. Helen and Elissa are going to keep me, and I wouldn't even feel backstabbed if they didn't. I'd just turn around and vote for Chima or Eric a week early, because that's exactly what they're asking to happen.
About the veto comp: ugh I was so close. It's for the best I don't win, though. If Helen wins HOH and Elissa wins veto next week, I'm going to want to appear weaker at comps than Chima (and less of a social threat for them).
Really, the worst thing that could happen is a Chima HOH next week, shortly followed by a Helissa veto win if I win HOH.
I'm REALLY gunning for me, Chima and one other in the final 3.

Hopefully one day I may be accomplished enough to host a game alongside Ryan with what one BBCharm cast member called "the best cast of an ORG I have ever played with bc we all just joke around with each other ily guys"
Ok, but really, Helen is so weird. The cast is better than BBCurve (or so I've heard) but let's not pretend anybody outside of three people had any real personality, strategy and longevity.
